Grand Village was built in 1993 by Silver Dollar
City after they completed the Grand Palace Theater
to offer their guests a unique shopping and eating
experience. It was designed with the look of old
town Charleston, South Carolina. There are brick
walkways lined with beautiful flower beds, fountains,
and feeders for the native birds. Colorful buildings
and unusual architecture encompass the full spectrum
of this exciting shopping venue. In 2005 Silver
Dollar City sold the Grand Village. Now more than
ever 26 individually owned shops and 2 delightful
eating venues strive to make your visit a wonderfully
relaxing and uniquely interesting shopping adventure.
